About Lisa

Lisa Nogueira is an Ann Arbor-based Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner (FDN-P), Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (CMLDT) and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She has advanced training in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), Functional blood chemistry analysis, detoxification and biotransformation, multiple functional lab screenings, and a wide range of massage and bodywork modalities.  Lisa combines data-driven diet and lifestyle practices with unique healing arts and coaching to create deeply nourishing and transformative experiences with her clients.  Through years of working with clients, she has discovered that true health always comes back to the foundations- how we eat, move, think, handle stress, and structure our daily habits. Her work is dedicated to helping clients strengthen these core foundations for lasting well-being.

An explorer at heart with a lifelong passion for learning, she continuously expands her expertise in health, nutrition, and bodywork. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to excellence, she stays at the forefront of emerging knowledge to provide clients with the best possible care. Helping others thrive is at the heart of her work in functional health. With a detective-like approach, using functional lab screenings and a detailed symptom and lifestyle analysis, she helps uncover hidden stressors in the body, identifies opportunities for healing and empowers clients to restore balance and well-being.

Note from Lisa: “On my own personal healing journey, I explored a wide range of modalities, including craniosacral therapy,, acupressure, visceral manipulation, energy healing, EFT, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, various massage techniques, multiple diet protocols, affirmations, sound healing, nervous system healing, detoxification, biohacking, and ultimately functional nutrition, mineral balancing and functional lab screenings.  I tried everything that resonated with me, investing significant time and resources in my search for healing.

I want a more direct, effective path for my clients.  That’s why I incorporate functional lab screenings into my practice- to identify imbalances and dysfunctions at their root. By addressing these with a personalized approach that includes diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, targeted supplementation, and bodywork, we can create a solid foundation for lasting health and well-being.”

With Lisa's coaching, I learned to eat and live healthier and address the root causes of my heart burn, low mood, and frequent migraines without sacrificing enjoyment.

I have been working with Lisa on dietary and lifestyle changes to improve my digestion along with lymphatic drainage and I have never felt better.

I have been going to Lisa for years for her wonderful massage and bodywork, and recently decided to try her nutritional coaching + HTMA. From my hair sample, we discovered a mineral imbalance and got answers as to why I was feeling so burnt out. With a few diet and lifestyle changes, a couple of supplements, and Lisa’s coaching, I’m already noticing my energy coming back and the brain fog clearing.

There is no denying that detoxing is hard, but Lisa provides such a wonderful combination of positivity, education, and emotional support, that the two weeks just fly by.

When I started with Lisa, my cycle was irregular, I was overweight and anxious and just didn’t feel like myself.  After coaching sessions with her for the last 4 ½ months, my symptoms are not only better but almost non-existent.  I had my first pain-free “normal” period ever!  I feel calmer in my body and I even dropped 9 pounds so far. It takes work to make change, but I am inspired to keep it up. Thanks Lisa!

I learned how to eat in a more healthy way by incorporating whole foods and eliminating processed foods.  I do plan on eating this way forever.

This program is very well organized and easy to follow. It teaches a lifestyle change that can have a very profound impact on your health and wellbeing.

I did my first Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, and it was eye-opening. I was feeling depleted and generally run-down after a series of stressors and Lisa helped me build myself back up again, replenish my minerals and focus on taking care of myself as well as my family. I am so grateful for my newfound energy.

I have finally found the key to a good relationship with food.  For this I am deeply grateful to you, Lisa.
